1.Used as curing agent of epoxy resin, curing accelerant.
At present, propionitrile is mainly used in curing agent for synthesizing epoxy resin. 2-ethyl-4-methylimidazole(Japanese commodity brand:EMI-24, 2E4MI). This curing agent has excellent properties. For its high price, it is mainly used in the industries including spaceflight,aviation industry, electron and automobile etc..
